Slovak cellco 4ka, which is part of the SWAN group, has activated 5G services in a third market, with a switch-on confirmed in the city of Trnava.
A report from Zive.sk says download rates of around 300Mbps were available via the new network. For the time being, 4ka is inviting its customers with compatible devices to test 5G services in parts of Bratislava, Banska Bystrica and Trnava rather than trumpeting a full commercial launch. An expansion to the city of Nitra is due soon, according to the report.
