The amount of on demand content available on the Freeview Play platform has increased by 10,000 hours since 2021.
Freeview Play says it’s home to 95% of the UKs most-watched shows, and provides access to over 80 live TV channels and ten on-demand players; BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, My5, UKTV Play, CBS Catchup Channels UK, Horror Bites, STV Player, POP Player and BBC Sounds.
Available content includes Peaky Blinders, now in its final series, Love in the Flesh, Married at First Sight Australia, The Ipcress File and The Curse.
It is a vital line for UK broadcasters looking to hold their own against the likes of Netflix and Disney+.
