Orange Poland says more than 300,000 of its fiber broadband customers are using infrastructure leased from third-party providers.
The telco has over 60 wholesale agreements with 50 different entities, covering more than two million households which it has not reached with its own fiber network rollouts.
The telco estimates that over the next two years another one million premises will be passed by new fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) infrastructure, and it hopes the majority of these will be made available via wholesale agreements. Alongside the leased networks, the French-owned telco can offer fibre-based services to approximately four million households via its own infrastructure.
