Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, announced its collaboration with the Kuwait Association for Needy Families in celebration of the International Day of Happiness that falls under the Company’s extensive corporate social responsibility program. The collaboration further builds on the various humanitarian initiatives stc has implemented and participated in with the sole objective of supporting and empowering the community.
stc released a statement indicating on the sideline of the International Day of Happiness, this collaboration stems from the Company’s keenness to support families in need, especially orphans. Through this initiative, stc partnered with the Kuwait Association for Needy Families in their special event for orphans in honoring excelling students, in which stc distributed different smart devices to around 200 excelling students in an effort to draw a smile on the children’s faces.
Representatives from stc’s corporate communications team distributed the smart devices to excelling students along with giveaways to their families during the event and got a chance to meet and get to know the children. The initiative primarily focused on emphasizing stc’s stand in supporting the Kuwaiti society through various humanitarian and community-based activities, as well as the successful and long-standing relationships the Company has fostered with local non-profit organizations in Kuwait.
