O2 Slovakia has added dozens of new locations to its 5G network, adding coverage in cities including Kosice, Kezmarok, Poprad, Spisska Bela, Lipany, Svaty Jur and Topolcany.
According to a report from Zive.sk, the operator is now providing 5G services in 64 cities, towns and villages. Alongside its 5G rollout, O2 is also upgrading its entire radio network, meaning improvements in services for 2G, 3G and 4G users. TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database notes that O2 is the second largest of Slovakia’s mobile operators in subscription terms, behind Orange but ahead of Slovak Telekom and SWAN (4ka).
