Bite Lithuania has announced the commercial launch of VoLTE technology, providing customers with improved voice quality and faster call connectivity. The new service is activated free of charge and is currently available on selected handsets from Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi, with Apple smartphones and other handsets and devices set to follow in the future. Bite says it partnered with Swedish equipment vendor Ericsson to develop and roll out VoLTE technology.
‘The highest quality call technology is especially relevant for customers working remotely, traveling and communicating with call centre specialists. From now on, there is an opportunity to enjoy high-speed 4G internet even during a phone call,’ said Bite CEO Pranas Kuisys, adding: ‘The new service for our customers is activated free of charge. It is part of the investment in our network and the improvement of quality. We aim to make life and work a little easier for people using Bite’s services.’
