Orange Espana ended 2021 by delivering 5G coverage to 58.6% of the Spanish population, providing services to 840 municipalities across 38 provinces.
Of these, 737 locations are home to populations of less than 50,000. Orange’s 5G network is expected to reach more than 1,500 municipalities in 2022.
Orange noted that it ended 2021 with 886,000 5G subscriptions and 10.720 million 4G subscriptions.
