Ooredoo Oman has signed a new ICT and managed services agreement with Huawei which will come into effect on 1st January 2022.
Local news outlet Zawya reports that the three-year contract builds on an existing agreement between the companies, and will see Huawei provide Ooredoo with network performance management services as well as operations and maintenance.
Ooredoo’s Chief Technology and Information Officer Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Abri said: “Our partnership, which began in 2012, will focus on optimising our digital operations using state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and machine learning-based technologies and tools.”
