Digicel Fiji has reportedly launched its satellite broadband service, Digisat, as it looks to provide affordable high-speed data connectivity to people living in rural and remote communities in Fiji.
The company’s CEO Farid Mohammed was quoted by local press as saying that with customers relying on the operator to deliver improved broadband services in far-flung parts of the island, it had launched the new service and would also continue to expand the coverage of its 4G LTE mobile network, and help to develop community W-Fi projects in unserved areas.
