Invita, an ISO and PCI-DSS certified provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) and digital transformation, has integrated voice biometrics solution from Kaizen Secure Voiz (KSV) into its contact centre offerings.
By integrating biometric technologies, Invita says it can now simplify and secure the entire transaction life cycle for businesses and consumers with a single authentication solution.
The companies said that Gartner predicts 20 per cent of successful account takeover attacks will use sophisticated identity theft and fraud techniques. KSV’s voice biometrics capabilities provide protection against advanced threat technologies within two years, and give customers the highest level of security against evolving threats while delivering an improved consumer experience.
Markets forecast the identity verification market size will reach $15.8 billion globally by 2025.
Invita chief executive Rahul Bhalla said: “Today’s consumers are transacting in a digital-first world, and expect to trust technology to keep them safe against burgeoning threats. Identity verification service has never been more relevant.
“Rapid advances in artificial intelligence are enabling novel forms of fraud, which means technologies like those pioneered by KSV are critical in this fight.”
KSV’s passive liveness detection, combined with its “AI powered digit recogniser” which eliminates actions fraudsters can mimic with deepfake technology, is lauded as an important technology in fight against fraud.
KSV CEO Ashok Krish said: “Consumers want an easy and frictionless experience. We are proud to join forces with Invita to scale our leading voice biometrics, liveness detection technologies.
“This move accelerates our vision to be the industry’s centre of excellence to fight fraud more seamlessly without inconveniencing customers.”
