stc Group announced that it has raised its services and network readiness to serve Hajj and Umrah guests in Makkah, the Holy Sites, and Al Madina as part of the Group's preparations for this year's Hajj season. For this purpose, a delegation of stc Group leaders visited the Hajj Operations Center and the Support and Technical Support Center in Makkah Region. On the field visit, Technology and Operations Chief Officer Haithem Alfaraj and Consumer Business Unit Chief Officer Faisal Alsaber reviewed the readiness of stc services and network to serve pilgrims in Makkah and the Holy Sites. Alfaraj and Alsaber were briefed on the readiness of the smart 5G technology robot, which is one of the services and digital solutions provided by the company to enrich pilgrims' experience by providing directions to sites and live information on the Holy Mosque, as well as measuring ambient temperature and performing many other digital tasks and services.
The delegation also visited the Al-Adl sales point in Makkah and attended a meeting of the Higher Committee for Hajj and Umrah in the Makkah Region Communications Complex, to ensure the readiness of all stc sectors involved in Hajj season operations, with the aim of providing the best communication services to Hajj and Umrah guests and ensuring the continuity, reliability, and success of services.
