The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) published public consultations on three documents concerning the quality of postal services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These documents include terms for quality of service for Universal Service Providers, Parcel Service Providers, and Delivery Apps.
CITC explained that the aim of these documents is to improve the quality of services provided in the postal sector in terms of delivery, customer service and informing the consumer with necessary data.
The regulatory document contributes to effectively regulating the postal sector, in order to increase competitiveness, and promote investment.
CITC is inviting all parties nationally and internationally, including service providers, to submit their feedback and engage in this process by 22 July 2021.
