The number of FTTH lines in Spain now stands at over 12 million.
According to the latest data published by the regulator CNMC, the figure was exceeded in May, with an additional 85,786 added during the month.
Almost 40% of the total were operated by Movistar, and Movistar, Orange and Vodafone had a combined share of 80.9%.
The number of FTTH lines in May was 1.4 million higher than 12 months earlier, while the number of DSL lines fell by 0.7 million over the same period
