stc honors Bader Al-Mutawa for becoming most capped international footballer

Chief Executive Officer of stc, engineer Maziad Alharbi, on behalf of stc, honored the professional footballer Bader Al-Mutawa who plays in Qadsia SC and the Kuwait National Football Team for receiving the most international capped player title. Al-Mutawa received the global recognition in the world of football after his 185th appearance with the national team.

The honoring ceremony was attended by stc’s Corporate Communications team led by Danah AlJasem, and was organized by Ahmed Al Nowaibet, Manager of Public Relations and Social Media at stc. Bader Al-Mutawa, star of Kuwait's national football team, snatched the title of ‘most capped international footballer’ after playing his 185th match with the national team against Bahrain in the "FIFA Arab Cup".

The Federation Internationale de Football Association “FIFA” announced that footballer Al-Mutawa, 36 years of age, surpassed the player with the most appearances, a record held since 2012, marking him as the most capped international player, as mentioned in news outlets. It is worth noting that Al-Mutawa's international career began when he was 18 years old playing against Singapore in 2003 for the 2004 Asian Cup qualifiers.
