United Group's Android TV platform EON has made its debut in Croatia. EON is provided by Austrian-based Solford Alpine and users can subscribe online or through Telemach Croatia sales channels.
The introduction of the EON platform in Croatia means that the Sport Klub sports channel and CNN’s leading regional channel and subsidiary N1 are once again available to viewers across the country, along with Discovery’s portfolio, including Eurosport.
Adrian Jezina, CEO of Telemach Croatia said: “From investments to build a state-of-the-art 10G fibre optic network and modernise our mobile network, to an exciting new brand, new stores, and bringing Eon to Croatia, Telemach is committed to providing innovative products and services, amazing content, and the very best user experience”.
It all comes with over 19,000 video titles instantly available on the EON platform, meaning every family member can find something for themselves.
Nikola Francetic, CEO of Solford Alpine, which distributes Eon internationally, said: “We are very happy to launch Eon in Croatia as part of our pan-European operation. There are already many Croatian subscribers using Eon all around the world through our global distribution, and we are delighted to make it now available to viewers in Croatia”.
Eon is available through the Eon Smart Box or Smart TV app, all of which come with advanced features like sports mode with event statistics, personalised profiles including kids’ mode, and a personal recommendation engine.
