JazzCash, a Pakistan-based digital financial services provider, has launched its mobile app specifically for businesses. The app notably aims to make digital payments more efficient and easy to use for bsuiness owners, company managers, and home businesses. It will also help “kickstart” the digital payment acceptance process without having to go to the bank.
Founded in 1994, Jazz claims to be Pakistan’s leading telecom service provider, spearheading service excellence and product innovation in the country. The company revealed it offers exclusive and personalized tariff plans that empower customers and cater to the communication needs of a diverse group of people, from individuals to businessmen to corporate and multinationals.
“With a subscriber base above 68 million and a legacy of more than 25 years, Jazz maintains market leadership through cutting-edge, integrated technology, the strongest brands and the largest portfolio of value added services in the industry. Housing a nation-wide network of contact centers and an unparalleled fibre optic backbone of more than 25,000 kilometers, Jazz has already invested billions of dollars in the country to date. It also provides uninterrupted countrywide connectivity, unmatched customer services and international roaming in over 150 countries.”
While sharing more details about the company, Erwan Gelebart, CEO of JazzCash, explained:
“JazzCash aims to cultivate a cashless economy and is committed to introducing innovative products and services that offer faster, more transparent and secure payment solutions. We identified a need for a one-stop digital solution in the SME sector, which still lacks the tools and resources to adopt digital transformation, and created this business app to manage their financial requirements. By taking advantage of secure, real-time payments, these businesses will witness higher efficiencies and benefit from a thriving digital ecosystem.”
JazzCash further observed that it now has a merchant base of more than 100,000 registered merchants. Business owners may now self-onboard to the new Business App by registering themselves online.
