Vodafone Germany has rolled out gigabit cable speeds for an additional 400,000 homes, mainly in the federal states of Hesse and Baden-Wurttemberg.
The new deployments have increased its 1Gbps cable footprint to 22.4 million households in all 16 federal states, and the firm is aiming to supply over 24 million homes with these speeds by the end of 2022 through the rollout of DOCSIS 3.1 technology.
