The short format content app and VOD service Flix Snip has entered into a partnership with Russia’s MTS.
As a result, it will be offered in MTS TV’s VOD TV and mobile packages.
MTS Media is a subsidiary of MTS Group and develops cable and satellite TV broadcasting, as well the multimedia platform MTS TV. Flix Snip will provide 350 titles to MTS TV, with 50 being exclusive. Its movies and series will also be available on MTS TV’s channel packages. The content will be localised and voiced over in the Russian language.
Flix Snip’s short format content is available in multiple genres, such as dramas, comedies, romance, sci-Fi, thrillers and family. Each film and series offered by Flix Snip is selected for audiences to consume in under 20 minutes.
Commenting on the development, Sebastien Perioche, Flix Snip’s founder and CEO said: “We are very excited about our new partnership with MTS Media and we believe MTS TV’s dedication to providing top quality content will be enhanced with our curated global selections of short format movies and series”.
Flix Snip was launched in 2019 and is available to over 70 million mobile OTT and IPTV users in Europe, Asia and the CIS.
