Vodafone Qatar marked National Sport Day with the launch of a “one-of-a-kind” Augmented Reality (AR) game that enabled individuals to get some movement from the safety of their homes. Open to everyone in Qatar, the immersive game that seamlessly blended real and virtual objects required players to collect as many balls as possible while avoid getting hit by the rogue characters, the company said in a statement.
Players who got the top three scores will win an iPhone 12 and the players in the fourth and fifth places will get an AirPod Pro. Vodafone will contact the winners today through the email address used for their app store registration to receive their prizes.
Vodafone Qatar said, “During these exceptional circumstances, we’re delighted to have still been able to engage the public in an innovative and more importantly safe way on National Sport Day this year.
“Vodafone has historically on National Sport Day each year, showcased how technology can enable an active lifestyle and promote wellbeing, and we’ll continue using our digital expertise to promote how you can live a healthy lifestyle using innovative technology.”
The game can still be enjoyed until the end of February by downloading the Vodafone AR App, available on both the App store and Google Play.
