Iconic music performances from MTV Unplugged and the landmark 60s German music show Beat Club have been made available on Pluto TV.
The ViacomCBS streaming platform is bringing together the best of six decades of music history through three new channels that also includes Clubbing TV. All three services are now live on the platform in the German-speaking market, alongside 90 other Pluto TV channels.
Beat-Club, the first English-language music show first appeared on German television in 1965, and is featured in The Story of Beat-Club Produced by Radio Bremen, the show featured the British DJ Dave Lee Travis as one of its presenters and performances by stars such as Sonny and Cher or the super group Cream featuring guitarist Eric Clapton alternating with up-and-coming bands from the British beat movement.
ViacomCBS is also drawing on the MTV Unplugged library that includes sessions from Samy Deluxe, Udo Lindenberg, Placebo and Pearl Jam, while Clubbing TV will includes non-stop electronic music for those missing their annual trip to Ibiza.
