Deutsche Glasfaser said that it has started construction work to expand the FTTH network in the district of Saarmund in the municipality of Nuthetal in Brandenburg.
The expansion of the network in the other districts of Bergholz-Rehbruecke, Fahlhorst, Nudow, Philippsthal and Tremsdorf will gradually take place in the coming weeks. The company will install empty ducts in the streets as a first step before laying the fibre network cable. Deutsche Glasfaser plans to install the three main fibre-optic distributors, or Points of Presence, on 17 December.
