Skylink has provided details of the pay-DTT service Anténa+ that it plans to launch in October in the Czech Republic.
It will expand terrestrial broadcasting by 10 channels of various genres and include Nova and Prima channels in HD quality.
The channels offered by Anténa+ will be Nova HD, Prima HD, Joj Cinema HD, Film+ HD, Nova Sport 1 HD and Nova Sport 2 HD, Viasat Nature HD, National Geographic, Minimax and Leo TV.
Anténa+, which will initially only be available in Prague and environs, will cost CZK125 (€4.6) a month and each customer will be able to subscribe to it for one to 12 months.
The start-up package will cost CZK499 and include the Antena+ module (CZK249) and subscription for the first two months (2 x CZK125). Anténa + will also include the Skylink Live TV service.
Commenting on Anténa+, aromír Glisník, a member of the board of directors of M7 Group, said: “We wanted to make the commissioning of the Anténa + service as easy as possible for spectators and without any installation. All you need is a TV set with a built-in DVB-T2 tuner and a slot for a CA module, and to be in the area of signal coverage”.
Klára Brachtlová and Jan Vlcek, CEOs of TV Nova, added in a joint statement, “It is part of our long-term strategy to use all available distribution channels so that we are always as close as possible to our viewers and allow them to watch their favoruite series, entertainment shows, sports events and current news. That is why we welcome the new opportunity that this platform brings”.

In addition to popular series such as Slunecná and Sestri?ky Modry kód, they can look forward to daily news from home and abroad, films for the whole family and a number of other programmes of the highest quality”.
