Jordanian organisation FATE Esports has established a partnership with telecommunications company Orange Telecom Jordan.
The organisation collaborated with Orange on events in the last quarter of 2019, prior to the partnership being officialised.
As part of the deal, FATE Esports and Orange run an esports development initiative for Jordan and the Middle East, aiming to “grow talent in the region.” Lasting for the 2020 season, the partnership will also include the development of an esports training facility at the Orange Digital Village in Amman, Jordan.
They will continue to host events in the country and the wider MENA region, covering titles such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Tekken 7, PUBG Mobile, Rocket League, eFootball PES, and Dota 2.
FATE Esports fields competitors in CS:GO and Tekken 7, with the former recently competing in BLAST Rising and #HOMESWEETHOME, and while being based in Jordan, it calls itself a “global network of players, managers and creators.”
French organisation Team Vitality extended its partnership with Orange through to 2021 in November last year after originally forming the working relationship in 2018.
