Shohoz launches digital healthcare service

App based services provider Shohoz is all set to launch digital health service, Shohoz Health, to help people consult doctors and get medication staying at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The service is expected to be inaugurated on May 16, 2020, said a press release.

“We are happy that we could bring this much needed service in this pandemic time,” said Maliha M Quadir, founding managing director of Shohoz.

“We are closely working with the health sector players to bring the best healthcare consultations within a single platform,” she added and hoped that the new service would help the country fight Covid-19 pandemic and build a technology empowered health solution.

This healthcare app will allow users to consult more than 100 specialized doctors through video-based consultation from anywhere in Bangladesh, the release said.

Besides, it will help people get prescription as well as medicine delivery from over 100 pharmacies – all under the Shohoz Super App, it mentions.

The Shohoz Health includes doctors from renowned hospitals of the country such as Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital, CMH, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Bangladesh Specialized Hospital, City Dental College, Popular Medical College and many more.

Prominent child specialist of the country Dr Kazi Naushad-Un-Nabi and many other popular physicians will provide consultation service on the app.

Users can avail the prescribed medicines from popular pharmacies like Lazz Pharma, Tamanna Pharmacy, Prescription Point, Al Madina Pharmacy and many other different pharmacies, the media release said.
