First batch of students complete training from Orange's Coding Academy

Forty-six trainees have completed 6 months of high-quality training on technical and personal skills at Orange Coding Academy; 33 of which have already landed great job opportunities right after finishing their internships at well renown local companies, while the rest is about to obtain similar opportunities.

The first batch of the academy's students were overjoyed at their graduation ceremony, as they are making the first steps in their professional lives in programing. With great confidence and enthusiasm, the students introduced themselves to the attendees, reflecting high level of confidence, strong personal skills and aptitude. With this success, the students will be able to pick the best of opportunities that meet the aspirations and ambitions.

"Training for Employment" is not just a slogan, but Orange Jordan's utmost goal. It is a principle embodied by efforts to offer free and high-quality training courses in highly demanded programming languages in local and the regional labor markets.

The Students received trainings to enhance their skills and increase their employment opportunities across different sectors. With the graduation of the 1st batch of students, the goal was accomplished, and a bright future is a head of them.

Orange Coding Academy is the first of its kind in the Middle East, established by Orange Group in cooperation with Simplon.Co. The academy in Jordan is the group's third academy and has turned out to be as successful as the groups' consubstantial academies in Senegal and France.

Orange Jordan has dedicated its efforts to support youth; the cornerstone of socio-economic development, through education and training which are considered efficient tools to push against unemployment among young people, contributing to the development of local communities.

Orange Jordan will soon launch the 2nd phase of Orange Coding Academy's training courses; a great opportunity for ambitious youth, for degree and none- degree holders, offering an opportunity to obtain programming skills especially in Java and Python coding languages, which are highly demanded by international companies. Programming sector in Jordan is expected to grow and offer over10,000 jobs within the next 5 years.
