du, part of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), has announced its collaboration with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) to support the new cultural vision of Dubai launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The first stages of the partnership will be launched during the inaugural edition of Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert, taking place from 4-7 March, which aims to raise awareness about filmmaking in an environment that celebrates Emirati culture and heritage.
As the official communication partner, du will provide the latest communication solutions and technologies required to ensure that the audience, visitors, and event organizers enjoy world-class communication services. Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert enables visitors to watch a series of films in an innovative environment that are carefully selected to suit all ages and preferences, providing them with a unique and unforgettable cultural experience. In addition, activities including specialized training workshops for emerging talents run by elite professionals in the filmmaking field will also take place, as well as educational sessions for amateurs and emerging talents under the supervision of global experts in the world of cinema.
