Mohamed Fadhel Kraiem, the CEO of Tunisie Telecom, has been named a minister in the new government of Tunisia. He will serve as minister of communication technologies and the digital economy.
Kraiem became head of the company in late 2017, after previously serving as Tunisie Telecom’s deputy CEO between 2010 and 2015. He re-joined the company after nearly two years at the helm of Monoprix Tunisia.
Kraiem also steps down with immediate effect as chairman of Malta operator Go, which is owned by Tunisie Telecom. The Go board thanked him for his service and named non-executive director Faker Hnid as interim chairman
