We are keen, through this new channel, to clear ambiguities surrounding the future of emerging technologies in general, especially those related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) and its manifestations such as 5G, Robotics, IoT, Big Data and the Smart City. The TRA Podcast is an effective way for customers to learn about key developments through episodes featuring officials and specialists from the TRA and the sector at large, during which they briefly talk about their experience and knowledge with a lot of streamlined information, in order to give a an overall idea to the audience about the TRA and its central role in organizing one of the most vital sectors of our time.”

H.E added: “We in the TRA realize key issues relating to the ICT sector, and accordingly we will work through the new service to introduce members of society with everything new, so as to leverage the great popularity enjoyed by podcast as a content publishing service, not only at the local and Arab levels, but also globally. The UAE podcast market is expected to grow exponentially with users in the coming period as a new and trending way to consume digital content, especially among the younger generation who make up about 36% of UAE's population.”

In the coming days, the TRA will publish more Podcast episodes periodically, to talk about key issues and services under the scope of the TRA, such as cybersecurity, business services, permits/authorizations, among others. Through the Podcast service, TRA’s customers can get to know about the latest figures in the ICT sector, and would also learn about key updates on relevant policies, regulations, terms and conditions. The new service will broadcast TRA’s responses to inquiries received via the call center, in addition to excerpts showcasing major smart services, tips and advice on dealing with the digital space presented by expert engineers from Computer Emergency Response Team (aeCERT) at the TRA.
