stc Bahrain sponsors Kingdom’s first SAMENA Council “Convergence to Bahrain 2020”
(Manama - Bahrain, February 2020): stc Bahrain announced the sponsorship of the 2020 edition of SAMENA Council’s Convergence series of conferences, taking place for the first time in Bahrain under the patronage of Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRA). The event, running under the theme of “5G&IoT and the Regional Digital Vision” at the Four Seasons Hotel on February 6th, is attracting participation from the Council’s Members and industry players from the region.
Featuring a series of panel discussions, the SAMENA Council event will focus on the region’s readiness for 5G technology and IoT, identify opportunities and address potential challenges for alignment of regulatory and policy needs in line with the requirements of the private sector. A special in-depth session on Bahrain’s 5G implementation and its revolutionary capabilities, including IoT and investment models to be highlighted by stc Bahrain will shed light on “How will Bahraini operators monetize 5G & IoT” given the regional and local digital transformation needs.
