The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the Kingdom of Bahrain held a three day workshop starting from the 20th of January 2020 at the Wyndham Grand Hotel. The workshop centered on drafting commercial contracts for members of the telecom industry. Attendees included legal teams from Mobile network operators Batelco, Zain & STC Bahrain.
Some of the subjects that were covered during the three-day workshop included commercial contract interpretation, drafting techniques and contract terms to name a few.
Dr. Jean Pierre Scerri, Acting Legal Affairs Director of the TRA commented on the workshop stating “It’s important to bring legal professionals together from within the industry to keep pace with international best practices and share knowledge and experience. Workshops such as these allow a platform for dialogue and understanding perspectives from multiple stakeholders.”
