Avaya International, a company specializing in business communications, announced the opening of an international service center in Egypt. The infrastructure is being promoted as a technology environment that will contribute to the promotion and adoption of innovation in research and development (R&D) of intelligent cloud-based technologies, software, and solutions, as well as improving the effectiveness of human skills.
Avaya's decision follows a meeting between Amr Talaat, Egypt's Minister of Communication and Information Technology, and Avaya International’s President Nidal Abou-Ltaif on January 6, 2020, during which they discussed the qualification and training of human skills and the use of Avaya's intelligent software platforms to provide the best technological solutions.
Nidal Abou-Ltaif expressed Avaya's desire to further cooperate with the Ministry to support Egypt's digital transformation through the provision of the latest intelligent technology solutions. He said Avaya would increase its team of technology software developers in Egypt by 80%.
