A1 Telekom Austria extended its fibre-optic network by 7,000km in 2019, increasing the total length of the infrastructure to 54,000km.
Last year, the fibre network was expanded to more than 700 Austrian communities, enabling an additional 200,000 households to connect to high speed services. A1 says it invests around EUR450 million (USD504 million) in the expansion of its digital infrastructure each year.
