he Telenor Serbia mobile network transmitted 173.74 TB of data on New Year's Eve, setting an all-time Serbian record for upload speed in the first 15 minutes of 2020.
The average upload speed during the 15-minute period was 10,304 Gbit/s, which is 55 pct faster compared to the previous record, with the 4G network accounting for 85 pct of the total data transferred, Telenor said in a statement.
From 11 pm on December 31 to 11 am on January 1, 1,424,737 calls were made and 4,379,350 text messages were delivered in the Telenor Serbia network.
Also, 64,547 text messages were sent abroad and 8,361 international calls were made on New Year's Eve and in the morning of January 1, the mobile operator said.
