Egypt-based Soma Bay Development Company has launched the first phase of Somabay app in collaboration with I-Community, a community management platform and private social network.
A company founded in 2016, I-Community connects residents, real-estate developers, and facility management - all in a single, unified, extensible solution.
A first-of-its-kind in the Egyptian real estate market, the app offers further integrated services in Somabay’s residential facilities that allow residents to connect with services all over their community for a variety of needs.
Through the first phase, Somabay app is offering its new digital services to more than 500 homeowners featuring a wide range of services from hospitality and facility management that include maintenance, customer relation, housekeeping, laundry, limousine booking, hotels reservation, outlets and activities (spa, golf, and restaurants), concierge services as well as discounted rates for Somabay residents.
It will further enhance security systems for the residents over several phases including sending gate access to visitors using QR codes, said the Egyptian developer.
Soma Bay said the app features an online marketplace “STAYr” in which publics and residents can use for lodging, primarily homestays, or tourism experiences. It also supports the company’s plans for digitizing residents’ experiences using trending technologies in the country., it added.
