A total of 2 300 294 Nokia shares (NOKIA) held by the company were transferred without consideration to participants of Nokia's and Alcatel Lucent’s equity-based incentive arrangements as settlement in accordance with the terms of these arrangements.
The transfer is based on the resolutions of the Board of Directors to issue shares held by the company to settle its commitments under the arrangements as announced on January 31, 2019 and October 28, 2019.
The number of own shares held by Nokia Corporation following the transfer is 23 496 208.
