German regional operator Envia Tel said it will start to build the fiber network in the municipality of Auerbach in Saxony from the end of June.
The company will deploy fibre from the substation Auerbach along the Bahnhofstrasse, the main street, the Upper Main Street to the district of Jahnsbach in the small town of Thum. Firms can have access to Internet at up to 10 gigabits per second speeds.
The enviaM telecommunications service provider will lay almost 4 km of fibre optic cables. The works for teh expansion of the network are expected to be completed by the end of October.
