Sparkle, the international services arm of the Telecom Italia Group, has further expanded its reach into the Middle East with the launch of a new Point of Presence (PoP) in Aqaba, Jordan, in cooperation with local operator Naitel.
In a statement, Sparkle said it will be delivering high-speed connectivity to the Jordanian market as well as to neighbouring countries via its international network and Tier 1 global IP backbone Seabone combined with Naitel’s open data centre, converting Aqaba into a gravitational hub in the Middle Eastern region.
