Swedish communications regulator PTS said it will hold a meeting on 10 June to provide information about rules for the auctions of spectrum in the 3.5 GHz and 2.3 GHz bands. Allocation is due in the first quarter of 2020. Participants should register for the meeting by 06 June.
The 3.5 GHz band covers spectrum from 3.4 GHz to 3.8 GHz and is suitable for mobile broadband and 5G. It is currently used for municipal and national block permits of varying validity. The whole band is due for allocation in Q1 next year.
