Viacom is launching 14 free channels in the United States on its newly owned Pluto TV service on May 1, 2019.
These new offer include BET, MTV, Comedy Central, Spike, Nick, and Nick Jr. These are not live linear channels but rather collections of on-demand content owned by these channels. All programming will be ad-supported and is available free to view. Pluto TV has more than 15 million monthly active users, according to Viacom.

Here are the channels Pluto TV is adding this week: BET Pluto TV, Comedy Central Pluto TV, MTV Pluto TV, Nick Pluto TV, Nick Jr. Pluto TV, Spike Pluto TV, CMT Westerns, MTV Dating, Comedy Central Stand-Up, MTV Guy Code, MTV Teen, Paramount Movie Channel, Spike Outdoors, and MTV’s The Hills as a Pop-Up Channel presenting binge-worthy series, in marathon-style airings.
