Zain Bahrain, a leading telecommunications provider in the Kingdom, hosted sixteen students from British School of Bahrain for a one-week educational and work experience program.
The British School 9th and 10th grade students got first-hand experience of Zain Bahrain operator's vibrant internal culture by working within various departments including the Call Center, Retail, Marketing, Technology, and others. Students received also an overview of the mobile telecommunications technology, visited the switching center, worked with both Zain Bahrain Call Center and Retail Agents and participated in several educational workshops, including soft skills and career development seminars.
The students received a Certificate of Completion which were presented by Zain Bahrain Human Resources during a closing ceremony. The initiative comes under Zain Youth Empowerment Program which aim is to give university students a unique opportunity to gain work experience while pursuing their study. Participated students get exposed to real business world challenges that will sharpen their employability skills and make them ready to take their first career steps following their graduation.
