ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.’s OTT platform ZEE5 has been on an aggressive expansion drive across global markets these past six months. Since launching across 190+ countries in October 2018 it has established leadership position in markets like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and announced partnerships with Dialog, Celcom, Apigate, Netrange, Zeasn.
Zee5 is now set to unveil its 2019 plans to bring the best of Indian entertainment to its global audiences at the Asia Pacific Video Operators Summit (APOS), being held from 23rd to 25th April 2019 at Bali.
Since its worldwide launch, ZEE5 has captured the niche audience for South Asian content with its large library of Indian TV Shows, Blockbuster Movies, and Originals. With content across the different South Asian languages, Zee5 has scored hits with TV shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali, Bhagya, Jodhaa Akar, Sembaruthi etc., Bollywood and regional blockbusters and fast-paced Originals.
Now, the OTT platform is setting sights on attracting non-South Asian audiences too, ZEE5 will use the APOS stage to announce its plans for content localisation, distribution and other plans for the year.
