Belarusian fixed and mobile operator Velcom has begun phasing in the ‘A1’ brand of its parent A1 Telekom Austria Group. The operator announced on its website that rebranding from ‘Velcom’ to A1 will be gradual: in the upcoming months the dual ‘Velcom | A1’ brand will be used in company communications, to be replaced by the singular A1 moniker in due course.
The company added that, from 1 June, subscribers to updated ‘Comforts’/’Business Plan’ tariffs will be able to take advantage of ‘an exclusive roaming offer’: the ‘A1 GB’ roaming package will be available covering the networks of A1 Telekom Austria Group operators (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and North Macedonia) at a fixed price.
