Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced , that during the second quarter of fiscal 2019, its Enterprise Technologies group, which is part of Comtech’s Commercial Solutions segment, has received a $2.5 million order for various location platforms and location-based services (LBS) applications with a top-tier telecommunications service provider based in Saudi Arabia.
The location platforms will enable the service provider to actively and passively locate subscribers within 2G, 3G and 4G networks with the most accurate location technologies available. Additionally, the service provider will have access to a suite of value-added LBS applications including geo-location messages, emergency alerting and asset tracking.
