Zain Kuwait announced the inauguration of its new retail branch in the Avenues Mall, Phase 4 - The Forum, featuring the latest customer service innovations. Zain launched a number of exclusive offers for a limited time in celebration of the opening of the branch. The shop features more employees to serve visitors all week, especially on weekends when the mall witnesses high visitor traffic.
New branch features include a Smart Mall screen, considered the first of its kind in Kuwait. The Smart Mall is an interactive touchscreen offering customers the opportunity to virtually shop without the need for branch staff to be present. Customers can touch the screen and interact with the 3D modeled products, select the desired items, complete the transaction using their bank card, and specify the delivery location to get their order delivered wherever they need.
The Smart Mall features a wide range of the latest electronics, smart devices and accessories, and a dedicated section for Zain Life’s home security range, including smart cameras, motion sensors, and smart smoke detectors. The branch also features Zain’s latest solutions for digital entertainment through the PlayStation VR device for virtual reality gaming.
The Smart Branch offers Zain’s customers new service options that were previously not available through a traditional self-service machine, and works automatically through advanced technology without the need of the presence of branch staff. Equipped with a smart interface, the Smart Branch recognizes a customer’s identity through the face recognition feature, where the branch scans the customer’s civil ID and matches their photo with their face. This makes Sim card replacement possible over the machine.
