UAE-based operator Du is inviting customers with expired ID registrations to renew the registration of their numbers for free before end January and so avoid their services getting suspended in line with the UAE Registration Policy. To encourage them to act promptly, all customers who renew the ID registration for their Du numbers before the January cut-off date will be entered into a draw to win a car.
Customers requiring ID renewal will be notified individually via SMS, only after which they will need to visit any Du outlets for registration. Du customers can also renew online or via the Du app to avoid having their line disconnected. Customers can check their ID registration status by sending an SMS to 6664 with message ‘Status’.
