Maldives telecommunications giant Dhiraagu has launched its high-speed fiber broadband service in Raa atoll Ungoofaaru and Guraidhoo.
With the establishment of the service on Saturday and Sunday, households in the islands will receive its complete services.
Dhiraagu fiber broadband remains the fastest internet service provider in the Maldives at a speed of 100mbps and their biggest allowance is a package of one terabyte. Dhiraagu has thus far provided "Fiber to the home" services to capital city Male', Villimale', Hulhumale' and 39 other islands, and ADSL services to all islands with a large population, having covered 70% of the country since 2016.
Dhiraagu also began a fixed broadband promotion for November which provides free installation of fiber connection and a 25% discount from monthly fees for fiber broadband connections, valid up to three months.
