STC launched its in-flight Internet services through a live broadcast from an altitude of 30,000 feet on a flight from Riyadh to Jeddah, where the signal was transmitted directly to the ground of GITEX Dubai. The service will be provided through ground towers for the first time in the Kingdom, adding that it enables companies to safely hold live in-flight video conferences, as well as communicating with those who are on ground with high speed and security.
Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, visited STC exhibition at GITEX 2018 and was received by Tarig M. Enaya , Senior VP of Enterprise Unit and number of STC officials. Sheikh Hamdan was briefed about the company's services and participation at GITEX 2018.
