Beeline Kazakhstan has launched residential broadband services over its 4G cellular network. The service shares the ‘Internet Doma’ brand with the operator’s existing home fibre broadband packages and is intended for areas where no fibre connections are available. The 4G broadband service has so far been launched in parts of Almaty, Astana and Shymkent, with download speeds up to 35Mbps promised (compared to Beeline fibre speeds of up to 100Mbps). Next year Beeline intends to extend the service nationwide.
