Mobitel was selected by the South Asia Gateway Terminals, a container terminal operator in Sri Lanka, as its trusted provider of mission critical communications.
After designing and implementing the system, Mobitel is managing the network on behalf of SAGT. Under the terms of the contract, Mobitel has delivered a communication system based on 3GPP-standardised LTE, which it customised for SAGT's mission-critical communications within the shipping port.
