Eros Now, the digital over-the-top (OTT) South Asian entertainment platform, is prepping its plans to enter the Indonesian market.
In July, Eros Now entered a strategic tie-up with Xiaomi, a smartphone-maker and purveyor of a smart TVs, with more than 100 million smart devices (excluding smartphones and laptops) connected to its platform. In the first stage, a partnership with Xiaomi’s Mi TV allowed Eros Now to offer content to consumers in India. With this new stage in the partnership, Eros Now plans to strengthen its international presence through Xiaomi’s users in key markets like Indonesia and also leverage the brand’s global expansion.
Mi TV users will have subscription access to Eros Now’s bouquet of 11,000+ Bollywood and regional-language films, entertainment shows, music videos and originals.
